May 2006 -- Updated Edition of Security Manuals Released The two email security manuals we wrote for the German Ministry of Economics and Technolgy have been released in an updated second edition. April 2005 -- Three Year Project "The Learning Citizen" completed The education research project The Learning Citizen is completed. From 2003 to 2005, E-mediate has contributed to the projects' success with project management, promotion, media production, workshops and consultance. November 2004 -- Eight-lingual Promotion for Innovative SME After more than one year of work, multimedia production for Fiessler results in an eight-lingual DVD that is used for world-wide marketing and sales. October 2004 -- Video Series "Visions and Experiences" completed »Visions and Experiences«, our video series on E-learning in Europe, has successfully been completed. Results were presented at a hearing at the European Parliament. April 2004 -- Europe-wide Video Production Second Phase Our series of video interviews with politicians, industry players, researchers and users all over Europe is continued with 10 more clips. October 2003 -- Multimedia Promotion for machine-building SME Work has startet on a 3D animation that complements our year 2000 production for the innovative swabian SME Fiessler. Again a multilingual multimedia set will be produced. September 2003 -- Workshop for Project Cluster e-mediate presented a workshop on targeted dissemination and press campaigns to the LCCN cluster of projects. The workshop, organised in Luxembourg, comprised tutorials and hands-on practical sessions where participants presented and "sold" the results of their projects. September 2003 -- European Parliament Presentation As part of their involvement in the Learning Citizen initiative of the European Commission, e-mediate directors Manfred Heinze and Francis Wray were invited to give a presentation at the the CULT Committee (Education, Culture, Sports and Media) of the European Parliament on September 11. This presentation included a cartoon animation, video clips and a short overview, all reporting on the status of the distance learning market. August 2003 -- Video Interviews e-mediate has been assigned by the European Commission to produce a series of video interviews with politicians, industry players, researchers and users all over Europe. Theme of the interviews is the necessity for lifelong learning and technology enhanced learning. June 2003 -- e-Learning News For the e-Learning portal The Learning Citizen we are producing daily updated news content. |
